I've been writing Children's stories since my boys, now 20 and 14 were very young. They sat waiting in a spiral notebook until I married my wife, Laura, and she encouraged me to publish them. My original goal was just to have a book for each of my two boys, Andrew and Riley, and so I published It and I Wish to Fish. I have since published three more. My children's poetry collection, Izzards, Tractors, Snowcones and Stuff came next. Then Riley, my baseball player, hit his first home run and so it was time to publish Homer . My most recent book, Arms Wide Open, resulted after meeting the inspirational Rylee Victoria Burris, who is living with Freidrichs Ataxia. Writing, publishing, and sharing my books and poetry has been an exciting and rewarding experience that I hope to continue for many years.
